Pumpkin festival

Every year,in September  the town of  Foiano della Chiana celebrates also the festival of the Pumpkin : WEIGH THE PUMPKIN.

Different varieties of large gourds are shown and the heaviest pumpkin is rewarded with a prize
During the course of this festival,in an entirely orange environment, one can visit several stands offering gastronomic specialties  and musical instruments.

The young ones can enjoy and have fun in areas where they can play in the “Discover the farm” and animations.
